Near 5127 LaBounty Drive, between Smith Road and Slater Road
The full road closure of LaBounty Ave. ends on Tuesday, September 27th! However, work continues in the zone around 5127 LaBounty.
Drivers should expect delays as traffic is intermittently reduced to single lane alternating traffic near 5127 LaBounty Drive between Smith Road and Slater Road. The traffic revision begins Tuesday, September 27th and runs through Friday, September 30th. The traffic revision is in effect weekdays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic. Road will remain open during nonworking hours.
This work is associated with a private development project.
Slater Rd. will be closed to through traffic on Saturday, September 24th, between Rural Ave. and LaBounty Dr.
Through traffic drivers should plan to detour as a section of Slater Road will be closed on Saturday, September 24th. The road closure effects Slater Rd. between Rural Ave. and LaBounty Dr. The traffic revision is in effect from 7:00 AM to approximately 5:00 PM. The detour routes Slater Road traffic around the closure via Sunset Ave. to the north. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic. This is expected to be a one-day closure.
This closure is for a road paving project.

Notice is hereby given that the Ferndale City Council will hold a special meeting for the purpose of holding a discussion on the 2023 Budget Assumption Document. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the Ferndale City Hall Main Conference Room, 2095 Main Street. The meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. This is an open public meeting as outlined by the Open Public Meetings Act, and members of the public are invited to attend and observe.
