Water Main Break Impacts Malloy/Thornton Residents

Residents living on Thornton St. between Beulah Dr. and Malloy, and those living on Malloy between Thornton St. and Seamount Dr. are currently experiencing a water outage due to a broken water main. We are working to restore service as swiftly as possible, thank you for your patience.

Traffic Impacts on Malloy Avenue, Between Calico Loop and Willow Court: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, April 20-22, from 7AM to 5PM

Drivers should expect delays as a portion of Malloy Avenue, between Calico Loop and Willow Court, will be reduced to a single lane on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, April 20-22, between 7AM and 5PM. Traffic will alternate using one lane as directed by flaggers. This traffic impact is associated with a private project.

Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Theft Suspect

Ferndale Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying a suspect in multiple theft cases. He drives what is believed to be a black Honda Civic (2015-2020 model) with black or dark colored wheels, wears a Seattle Mariners hat and what are believed to be black and camo DVS Celsius shoes. The subject also has a tattoo on his left wrist.

The suspect has committed crimes at multiple locations and wore the same hat, bandana and shoes each time. There is probable cause for his arrest for multiple crimes.

Remote Meeting Notice – April 14, 2021 Council Committees and Committee of the Whole

The regularly scheduled Council Committee meetings as well as the Committee of the  Whole Special Meeting on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams, with staff and Councilmembers accessing the meeting from individual locations. This complies with Governor Jay Inslee’s Proclamation 20-28, as extended until further notice.

These are still open public meetings as defined by the Open Public Meetings Act. The City will be using Microsoft Teams to livestream the meeting. Members of the public do not need to download anything to view the proceedings. To join the live events, click on the following links:
