Police Station Project
For more than two decades, the Ferndale Police Department lived in a 3,000-square-foot leased facility on Third Avenue.
In 2011, City Council members approved the renovation of the former Ferndale Library building into a new station, with the footprint of the building expanded to 18,700-square-feet. The project was done in several phases, and police personnel moved into the facility August 2012.
