Notice Traffic Revisions and Possible Delays: Tuesday, January 29, 2019 to Thursday, January 31, 2019, 7:00am to 7:00pm
Portal Way, between McKinley Street and Newkirk Road
Drivers should expect delays as traffic is reduced to single lane traffic on Portal Way between McKinley Street and Newkirk Road from Tuesday, January 29, 2019 to Thursday, January 31, 2019, from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Flaggers will be on-site directing traffic. This work is to complete improvements associated with a private development project. Road will remain open during nonworking hours.
On Jan. 10th, a water main ruptured at the intersection of Third Avenue and Alder St. The Public Works crew are onsite through Jan 17th working to repair the broken pipe.
On Monday Jan. 14th, there will be flaggers and alternating traffic through the impacted intersection. On Tuesday, Jan. 15th the entire intersection will be closed for more extensive repairs and will remain closed through Thursday, Jan. 17th.

Small Works Roster and Vendor List
Notice is hereby given that the City of Ferndale Public Works Department is now accepting applications for its Small Works Roster and Vendor List for the year 2019. All interested parties may download application forms here. Completed applications can be returned to the City of Ferndale, attn.: Public Works Department, P.O. Box 936, Ferndale, WA 98248 or emailed to public-works@cityofferndale.org. Applications are valid for the calendar year in which it is received. A new application must be submitted each year.
Small Works Roster applicants where required by law, must be properly licensed or registered to perform work in the State of Washington. Contractors whose names appear on the Small Works Roster may be contacted from time to time to submit job proposals for contracts in the amount of $300,000 or less (RCW 39.04.155). Vendors whose names appear on the Vendor List may be contacted from time to time to submit quotes for materials, supplies or equipment not connected to a public works project in accordance with RCW 39.04.190.

Westbound traffic will be detoured via Tyler Lane, to Sunshine Drive, to Evergreen Way, to Thornton Street to Church Road. Eastbound traffic will be detoured via Church Road, to Thornton Street, to Evergreen Way, to Sunshine Drive to Tyler Lane. This road closure is to complete utility improvements associated with a private development project. Flaggers will be on site to assist traffic.

Traffic may also be stopped temporarily in work zone. Flaggers will be on site to assist traffic. This road closure is to complete utility work associated with a private development project.
