The City of Ferndale is now hiring a Deputy City Clerk.
The Deputy City Clerk assists the City Clerk in all department services and in coordinating day‑to‑day departmental activities and performs designated City Clerk duties in the City Clerk’s absence. The position also assists the City Clerk to coordinate and assemble City Council and Committee agendas and packets, records management functions, and serves as the staff liaison to the Ferndale Arts Commission and the back-up Civil Service Commission Secretary. This position also serves as the staff liaison to the LTAC Committee and coordinates the City’s Organizational Grants and provides support to the Communications Officer/Recreation Coordinator, assisting with website updates, copy editing and event support. This position may also serve as a grant writer for the City.
