The contract for this project was awarded to Len Honcoop Gravel, Inc. at the May 4, 2009, City Council meeting for their bid price of $174,881.33.
The project called for the construction of improvements along the west half of First Avenue between Alder and Cherry Streets, and included 700 linear feet of curb, gutter and sidewalk improvements, angled parking, water main improvements, storm sewer upgrades, fence installation, playground toy modification, and landscaping.
