Project Summary
This project is intended to provide the City with an additional 300 to 800 gpm water supply source. This project included the construction of a new CMU block wellhouse building (12’-8” x 22’ x 12’ tall) with a metal roof, similar to the City’s existing Shop Well #1 Wellhouse Building as well as completion of the well base structure, piping, valves, 30-HP submersible well pump, electrical, controls, instrumentation, programming, and configuration for a future permanent 200-HP submersible well pump. In addition, the work included a concrete retaining wall structure, site grading/drainage improvements, asphalt pavement surfacing, fence/gate improvements, a new backup generator, a new primary power feed, and a transformer on the east side of the Shop site.

Project Summary
This project consists of constructing a picnic shelter approximately 52' x 24' in size adjacent to the Start Park playground. The shelter is a heavy timber structure complete with roofing, concrete foundation, lighting, sidewalk, metal artwork, and stamped concrete.

Project Summary
The City’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit required a facility plan when flows or waste loads entering the WWTP exceed 85% of design criteria. The previous existing wastewater treatment plant has exceeded 85% of permit loading limits on multiple occasions. With the projected population growth and subsequent increase in influent flows the existing wastewater treatment process required significant upgrades to meet anticipated water quality standards.
