Kaas Rd closed from east of City Limits to Portal Way
Drivers should expect delays as Kaas Rd will be closed from east of City Limits to Portal Way and traffic will be shifted to a single lane alternating traffic detour. The traffic revision is in effect from Wednesday, August 13th through Friday, August 22nd from 7:30am to 5:00pm daily.
Work will be completed in sections, starting from the easternmost part of the work zone and proceeding toward Portal Way. The detour is a single lane of packed gravel running parallel to Kaas Rd. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic through the work zone.
For residents who have driveways onto Kaas Rd
At times, residents who have driveways directly onto Kaas Rd will only be able to enter or exit their driveway traveling east (toward Portal Way). Residents may have to travel past their driveway and turn around at the eastern end of the work zone to approach their driveway from the east.
