An application for Initiative #25-01 was submitted to the Whatcom County Auditor's Office on March 21, 2025, for placement on the November 4, 2025 General Election ballot. The City of Ferndale is currently seeking volunteers to serve on two voter pamphlet committees:
Committee "For" the initiative - Will write a statement urging voters to approve the intiative.
Committee "Against" the initiative - Will write a statement urging voters to reject the initiative.
Each committe will consist of three members.
