Upcoming Vacancies on the Parks, Recreation, and Trails Advisory Board (PRTAB)
Are you passionate about parks, recreation, and enhancing your community? The City of Ferndale is seeking applicants for two upcoming vacancies on the Parks, Recreation, and Trails Advisory Board (PRTAB). Both positions are for four-year terms, beginning August 30, 2025. The application deadline is July 31, 2025.
About the Board:
The PRTAB meets on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall. Board members assess Ferndale’s park and recreational facilities, programs, and needs. They make recommendations to the City Council on the management, improvement, and budgeting of parks and recreational events. The PRTAB also provides input on updates to the City’s Parks Master Plan.
