Technical Review Committee

The Technical Review Committee (TRC) consists of representatives from various City departments (Planning, Building, Public Works and Whatcom County Fire District No. 7).  For certain projects, other agency representatives may sit in on the committee to make comments in their respective areas of expertise. 

The purpose of this meeting is to provide pre-application review and formal, post-application review of development projects as required by the Ferndale Municipal Code.  Occasionally, the committee also conducts informal review of proposed projects. 

 The TRC meets regularly once a month, currently on the first Wednesday of each month at 8:30 am.  Formal agenda items are given priority and discussed prior to Informal agenda items.  Meetings are held at the City Hall Annex Building located on 2^nd Avenue.
