The City Clerk and Treasurer's Offices oversee the general financial workings and requirements for the City. The City Treasurer is tasked with the development of the City's Annual Report and Budget The City Treasurer's office also manages the annual audit and investments, provides monthly and annual revenue and expenditure reporting in relationship to the annual budget, and prepares water and sewer utility billings.

On December 3, 2007, the Ferndale City Council held the 2nd and final public hearing on the 2008 Budget, and passed the 2008 Budget via Ordinance Number 1444, with a unanimous vote.
Copies of the 2008 Budget work papers are available for view and to download. Please click on the hyperlinks provided. The three documents include: Ordinance No. 1444, Expenditure “Decision Cards” Index, and a copy of the 2008 Budget Workpapers, which include revenue and expense details for the 39 funds.
